a group chat that plays games
a private chat for 3 to 10 friends, with games built into it. truth or dare is the one you get first, and more land in the same menu over time. between rounds it is just your group, talking.
invite only. no strangers, no public feed, no discovery. 13 and up.
play right now, or let it come to you
everyone's here, so play
anyone hits play and the round starts on the spot. the wheel spins, everyone writes on their own phone, and it reveals for all of you at once. same sofa or five different houses, it runs the same. no passing a phone around.
or the drop does it for you
a circle can also keep a heartbeat: one round a day, at a time you pick, so there is always something waiting when nobody thinks to start one. set it to daily, school nights, weekends, or only when you play.
how a round goes
the wheel picks someone
it lands on one member and lands in the thread as a card you can replay. from there the circle knows who is on the hot seat.
the circle cooks
everyone else picks or writes one question and one dare. votes stay sealed, names stay hidden, and the hot seat only sees that the circle is cooking.
the reveal
the winning question and dare land fully redacted. the hot seat taps words to reveal them, one at a time, in front of everybody, then commits to truth or dare. the commit is permanent.
then proof
a truth is answered by text or voice. a dare needs a video, up to 30 seconds, shot in the app. duck it and it is a chicken, and everyone sees that too.
the game is one card in a chat that never stops
the round is not a separate screen you visit. it happens inside the thread, and the thread is yours the rest of the time: messages, photos straight from your camera roll, voice notes, and stickers you cut out of your own faces. drag any of it around a canvas and it stays exactly where you dropped it.
- every outcome mints its own sticker, and that sticker lands back in the tray to use again
- nothing expires, so a year in you can scroll all the way back to the first round
- a personal streak on your portrait, a circle streak the whole group shares
- more games arrive in the same menu, as cards in the same thread, with nothing new to learn
nobody to start one with yet
you can dare one person instead. write a truth or a dare for a friend, send them the link however you already talk, and the two of you land in a thread that works the moment they arrive. it is a circle with a seat still open: pull in a third and the wheel starts spinning.
a look at it
screenshots go here once the capture pass is done. every image must show the app as it actually ships.
who it is for
pardy is for 13 and up. we ask for a date of birth once, before anything else, to check that. under 18s should be using pardy with a parent who knows about it. nobody in a circle sees your date of birth.
circles are private. there is no way to find a stranger, no public feed, and no anonymous anything. you join because someone you know handed you a six character code or a link.
if something goes wrong
every photo, video, sticker, voice note and message can be reported from the item itself, and a reported item hides from the circle straight away while it is checked. you can block any member. read the community standards for how all of that works, or get in touch if you need a person.
